GRAND NATIONAL 4TH APRIL 2020
As some of you may or may not be aware, due to Covid-19 and government advice, regrettably the Grand National at Aintree has been cancelled so the following plan has been agreed by the RNWA Committee regarding the ‘Grand National Draw’ that was scheduled to be held at The Secretary’s address at 19:00 Tuesday 31st March 2020.
- Everyone who has paid and returned their stubs will be entered into a normal Raffle Draw that will be held on Friday 1st May 2020 (time and venue and format to be decided nearer the time subject to Covid-19 restrictions and Committee availability).
- Anyone not wishing to take part or does not wish to be considered as eligible and would prefer to decline and be refunded their Grand National payment (stating amount to be refunded) is to do so in writing, providing the RNWA Secretary with their full bank details for an ‘on-line’ bank transfer refund which will be made beginning of May.
To request and obtain a refund it must be done prior to the ‘close-off date’ of Monday 27th April 2020. *
- Subject to the percentage (%) of requests for refunds and the return of money (the prize money being adjusted accordingly) tickets will be drawn and prize payment made as follows:-
First ticket drawn to receive: £250.00
Second ticket drawn: £75.00
Third ticket drawn: £50.00
Fourth ticket drawn: £25.00
A further 12 tickets will be drawn: £ 10.00 per ticket …….Total Prize Money = £520.00
